Tiny House of Sizzle
In close collaboration with lead agency BBDO, we were tasked with bringing a new “above the line” campaign to life:
Sizzle, Pork And Mmmm (it spells SPAM).
The Ask
Develop a sampling tour that maximizes brand awareness, drives product trial, and helps to transform Spam skeptics into Spam lovers.
The Challenge
It’s SPAM.
The product has no shortage of negative connotations and few people are aware of the product’s quite simple list of ingredients.
The Insight
SPAM packs surprisingly big flavor in a tiny container.
The Result
We took our insight quite literally and built
The Tiny House of Sizzle.
Partnering with a tiny house manufacturer, we designed the structure from scratch to maximize sampling efficiencies within an instantly recognizable exterior. An additional “Sizzling Room” let guests immerse themselves in the brand and a bit of history.
While it may not have been the most ingeniously original idea to ever come out of my brain, I knew the client, knew they would like it and knew it could logistically and creatively meet our objectives. The agency relationship with the brand continues to this day
